How do I start healthy eating

HOW DO I START MY LIFETIME JOURNEY TO HEALTHY EATING

1.     Have a plan – what are you going to do, find someone to help you establish a medically sound plan, there are no quick fixes, no pills that do it for you
2.     Seek support from life coaches, friends, family and associate with people who are normal weight. Obesity can be “infectious”.
3.     Learn that Protein is your friend and Carbohydrates and sugar are the white poison.
4.     Watch out for restaurants and eat at only those that are not part of chains.
5.     Use the Calorie King book to assess salads and sandwiches at most restaurants
6.     Take up walking – GUMA – get up and move around
7.     Do not eliminate food but come to understand food as medicine
8.     Schedule relaxation time
9.     Sleep 7-8 hours per night
10. The most important EAT BREAKFAST EVERYDAY
